Hello there, interweb traveler!
My name is Mihnea and I’m a composer and visual artist based in Bucharest, Romania. Along the many years that I’ve been actively working and creating art, I believe I managed to get a tiny bit of a good reputation in the industry. My most recent highlights from my career include composing the soundtrack for feature films – “Mirciulică” (2022), “Hai România!” (2023) and “Căsătoria” (2024). I’ve also composed the soundtrack for a few short films and several major theater productions.
On the other side of my career, I shoot a lot of black & white portraits and I tend to do my photography mostly on film, which is a cumbersome and costly endeavor. That is partly because I’m not shooting only 35mm film, but I mostly use 120 film format, 4×5 and yes, 8×10.
Learning Photoshop at a young age has helped me tremendously as I was also able to create diverse graphics and posters for a lot of theater productions and films, the most recent also being “Căsătoria”.
